ELSE to join BIMA 100 panel of judges
At ELSE we’ve a keen interest in finding and nurturing exceptional design talent. We created our Experience Design Academy to help us do just that in fact. Now our founder and Chief Experience Officer, Warren Hutchinson, will apply this keen focus on talent to the BIMA judging panel. For the upcoming BIMA 100 nominations, he joins the panel to review the ‘Rising stars’ category and spot the ones-to-watch.
One of the most satisfying aspects of running a design consultancy is that you get to create the culture.
From the day ELSE started, we’ve tried to create a company where young talent can develop a solid foundation, learn from experienced hands, while bringing hunger and an interesting perspective to what we do. As such, we hold long formal relationships with people at excellent educational establishments such as Brunel, Imperial, Northumbria and Cambridge. Seeing people join ELSE as interns, return for permanent roles and then go on to have a great career is one of the most rewarding things we do.
After picking making the 2019 BIMA 100 myself, I‘m more than delighted to be able to participate again this year as a judge. Being a part of such landmark industry awards is a pleasure. We get visibility of upcoming talent and notable design projects and relish the feeling of recognising talented individuals and exceptional work.Warren Hutchinson, founder and chief creative officer at ELSE
