Meet Andry

Experience Design Director

As Experience Design Director at ELSE, Andry is responsible for leading and delivering projects but also building the core skills of the junior team.

Experience

After many years of training in pushing and animating pixels, he moved onto solving system and service design problems. Nowadays he’s often found scratching his head trying to make sense of business requirement documents, to make sure the team has the right foundation and a clear course of action.

Andry believes that users deserve the best possible experience and he will always strive to safeguard the integrity of the proposition. He will push product owners, business analysts and developers to also focus on the little things that matter. His ultimate goal is to convince everyone that MVP means Most Valuable Proposition.

Andry has worked for clients across a range of business sectors. These include Sony, Formula 1, Red Bull, Lloyds TSB, Barclaycard, UBS, Kodak, British Gas. Past roles include Design Consultant at FJORD and Senior Designer at LBi.

Kind words by clients & colleagues

“I can’t recommend Andry highly enough. During his time at Fjord I witnessed him flourishing into a truly inspirational designer. Andry is unique in his combination of pure, unfaltering skill and flair for designing groundbreaking digital services and an ability to communicate brilliantly. In front of the client, Andry has an awe-inspiring knack for taking them along with his vision even when he may be challenging them. Time and again, Andry has created designs that have blown away client expectations, contributing massively to the success of the studio as a result. I sincerely hope we’ll work together again soon!”

Abbie Walsh, Chief Design Officer at Accenture Interactive

“Andry is an inspirational design mind. He is deeply passionate about design, not just in execution terms, but in terms of its potential to transform the world and us humans for the better. Of course, this passion and focus means he can apply design thinking to very complex business challenges, which is where he excelled at Fjord and where he will continue to excel. Andry has deep visual and interaction core skills, and an awesome ability to integrate typography, but most importantly gets stuck into the business and organisation aspects of designing products and services. If the effect you’re looking for is “thank god, help is here”, then you should seriously be talking with Andry. I know we will continue to work together. A massive talent, and a great guy.”
