Design Thinking Deepdive at Sberbank Corporate University
Else delivered the keynote at the Design Thinking Deep Dive at Sberbank Corporate University in Moscow.
Last week, Else were asked to deliver a keynote as the finale to the Design Thinking Deep Dive at Sberbank Corporate University in Moscow. The campus is an impressive space, dedicated to creating a unique environment for the professional development of the banks leadership.
Sberbank employs over 250,000 people and is the third largest bank in Europe with over 137 million customers in 22 countries. The bank is a state-owned Russian banking and financial services company headquartered in Moscow handling 28.6% of aggregate banking assets.
Else were asked to deliver a presentation that captured our experience in Fintech and financial services — projects that have seen us launch a range of new services:
— A digital-only bank for Yota in Russia
— A restorative lending proposition to help the underbanked
— A new proposition for UBS, the world’s largest wealth manager
— An app to help entrepreneurs manage their finances
We also took the opportunity to present some key trends that we feel will/are affecting the industry — as well as ways to leverage these new things in ways that build engagement in a meaningful and human centred way.
In the rush of excitement for new technology in finance — ranging from Blockchain to VR — we talked about how you ensure this is applied effectively and how its impact is measured within the business.
We had a great response from the people in the room, who had been sharpening their skills around many aspects of Design Thinking in the last 3 days.
Thanks to Sberbank for having us and to Future London Academy for organising the event.
