ELSE’S INTERNS JOIN THE 2020 BIMA 100
DAVID FRIEDMANN & JOSEPH SHEPHERD, ACKNOWLEDGED FOR THIER ACHIEVEMENTS AND WELCOMED INTO THE BIMA 100.
ELSE recently welcomed in two new interns from the James Dyson School at Imperial College. Nurturing and mentoring interns and bringing design talent up through the business form a key part of ELSE culture. The BIMA 100 – which ELSE’s founder joined in 2019 – celebrates the people shaping the British digital industry and acknowledges rising stars and up-and-coming talent. We are delighted to announce that our 2019 interns and Interaction Designers, David Friedmann and Joseph Shepherd both join the BIMA 100, acknowledged in the ‘Students and apprentices’ category.
This category recognises individuals who are making an impact on the industry now – be that through the companies they are working in or through their own ideas or innovations. More than a recognition of potential, this category acknowledges real achievement over the past year. We can testify to that – David and Joseph have contributed to ELSE and the work we do for clients in many ways and their out-of-work projects are nothing other than utterly impressive.
“Watching our interns grow and achieve great things is rewarding in itself. To see them both acknowledged by BIMA – a highly respected organisation in the design world – is truly remarkable. We look forward to seeing what lies ahead – the future is certainly bright for David and Joseph.”ELSE partner and chief design officer, Dave Dunlop.
David and Joseph are both final year students – David is studying Design for Industry at Northumbria University and Joseph is studying for his Masters in Design Engineering at London Imperial’s James Dyson School.
The usual BIMA awards night celebrations are parked for now. Instead the ELSE team, along with David and Joseph, have been popping a few bottles to mark this special occasion.
